“What did you do as a child that made the hours pass like minutes? Herein lies the key to your earthly pursuits”.
Carl Gustav Jung
When I look around I see whatever is there, but there is also a transparent layer of my imagination overlapping with the material world. I look at a branch of a tree and I see imaginary creatures inhabiting the tree. I look at the sky and I notice how it communicates with me.
Analogically, I see the world as it appears on the surface, but my soul seeks deeper layers of the phenomena.
Art allows me to share everything that words are too limited to express. My paintings represent my perception of the world, as well as the emotions that accompany the experience. I always use intuition, even for my figurative works. Form is secondary to my expression. An idea for a new painting is never complete. It’s just a seed that starts the whole process of bringing thought or fantasy into the material world.
Expression is a form of communication. This is me approaching you with my work. When you’re engaging with it, you’re saying “hi” back to me.
In the recent years I had the opportunity to exhibit my works at galleries. My paintings are now in private collections in several countries. They invite dreaming and encourage self-reflection, as well as decorate homes and variety of other spaces.
